A well established Tarragon plant is highly tolerant of drought. These plants should not require any watering except in a case of extreme, continuous drought. Once the plant has become sufficiently well established you may harvest either entire stems or the entire plant by cutting a couple inches above the base. For full flavor use fresh Tarragon.
