For a successful yield you must plant a minimum of 2 Tomatillo plants. The plants grow to be quite large so the spacing between plants is important. The plant may benefit from a cage as it grows into a bush like shape once it begins producing fruit. Harvest when the fruit is plump and the papery husk has begun to split.
