This adorable and endearing variety of pumpkin requires a little more of a closer eye when growing as the fruits produces are not as hardy as the larger varieties. This pumpkin is not cold tolerant, making it important to plant late spring early summer after the last frost has passed. It can be beneficial to pinch off the excess blooms during mid to late summer to allow the plant to focus on growing the fruits that have already bloomed as well as so new blooms to over run the vines.
